89 supra turbo manual ecu question

i took my ecu out today to unwire my safac, and the ecu says 7mgt A/T ......does that mean its actually to a automatic? and if so will that make a difference or are they the same?

Yeah, I think that'd be the case. Post the part number.

You can run an ECU for an automatic equipped MKIII in a standard equipped one, but not the other way around.
