aluminum radiator
i was looking into getting an aluminum radiator and was wondering what brand or brands are a gd reliable one
i have been looking at koyo and mishimoto ones and are also curious about the cooling plates for the radiator and if those are really necessary or just a waste of money i realize that this is a more important mod then some of the other ones i have been looking into since where i live its gonna get into the triple digits with weather apologize about my constant posts but thank all those who have been helping |

go with fidanza or mishimoto, and yes those cooling plates are a waste of money...when the weather hits triple digits, make sure you add water wetter...it will increase cooling efficiency |
Water wetter does nothing for cooling efficiency, it's a dielectric and corrosion inhibitor. You may however run more plain water with it than you do with coolant and that is what cools better; Adding it to a 50/50 coolant/water mix is pointless.
I was really happy with my Koyo 1JZ. They're pretty inexpensive, well made and only require you to bend to pieces of aluminum to fit a MA70 chassis. |
