Default box near the diagnostic block on '87 7MGTE

Does anyone know the purpose of the square flat black box near the diagnostic block on a '87 7MGTE? It has a 4 wire plug going into it. It does not appear in the factory service nanual.

Got pics? Or even a part number? Doesn't sound like a sock component to me.

Here is a photo of another Supra. I has it also so it must be a stock part. Directly behind the diagnostic block and right of the Igniter.

The mystery is solved. Is a relay for the spray headlight cleaner found on '87 and '88 Supras. The part number is: 85276 -22070. It even says "relay cleaner cont." on it.
Duhhh. On a sidenote, how was thinking of using this sprayer as a sprayer for the intercooler instead of the headlights. I think WRX's had a feature like this.

Ah, thanks! Never occurred to me. It was only even an option on N/As from '86.5 up to '88.

I don't know of any car that came from the factory with an IC sprayer, but they're a popular enough mod. Using the headlight washers is pointless unless you get some finer sprayers, more of them, feed it with a better solution than windshield washer fluid, and add a controller (a TPS trigger would do well, so it only sprays when you're at or beyond a certain percentage of throttle).
