89+ 7M's have a 6,250RPM redline... reduced from 6,500RPM in the prior years. The end gear ratio in the 89+ GTE models got taller, going from 3.91:1 to 3.71:1... increasing the ceiling speed wise but reducing acceleration.
The A340E equipped 7M is limited mechanically to 169.6MPH The R154 equipped 7M is mechanically limited to 158.8MPH The W58 equipped 7M is limited mechanically to 132.4MPH You'll have a very hard time getting near these in stock vehicles. I should add that individuals have put money into raising that speed ceiling and setting up their vehicles to hit it.
