I would see if the paint is beyond recovery first. You'd be amazed what a hundred bucks of supplies, a buffer and a few hours of work can do. Check out the section here on "Exterior , Interior, and Detailing"
This thread in particular: Detailing and paint restoration

The fading could just be in the clearcoat on the car (if any). You could try wet sanding wit some 1200-1500 grit wetsand paper and Polish it with a buffer at LOW speed. the compound wheel might run ya around 220$ (makita), probally 50$ in sand paper,50$ on a decent compound and a glazing compound of some sort to remove the swirl marks from the previous compound. GOOD LUCK!

I believe the prvious owner did some kind of cheap paint job too it so do you think it is still possible to restore the paint?
you can see where the overlapping paint chipped and exposed the original paint . in this pic i kinda buffed it a bit and you can see the top cleared up a bit but not the rest. and overall paint couldnt help but to post my order that just came in lol yes upgraded driftmotion turbo |

Id say try to buff her and see how she looks after, as for the paint chips,,,you cant do anything but respray. (spot repairs dont look so well). the emblem might cover the flaking paint around the rear license plate area good luck to you.

what i meant is. that it looks like the previous owner painted a cheap layer of paint over the original paint, and where it is chipped. it exposes the original paint and the original paint is SHINY as well as nice. is there anyway to remove cheap layer of paint to expose original?

id say it would be next to impossible to remove all the top coat without damaging the paint underneath...the previous owner just didnt prep the surface right b4 he sprayed paint..
good luck
