i bought a new battery for my MKIII cause it wouldnt start with the old one, it would crank but not start the engine. so when i put in the new battery and i tried to start it it did the same thing but there was a bit of smoke coming from the battery. i quickly disconnected the cables. and the positive cable was really hot. could anyone tell me how and why this would happen and how to fix this problem plz.
