Water pump and other issues...
 

Hey, I have an 87 supra 7mge. The water pump just went out but when I start it, it red lines instantly. Does anyone know if these would be related? I've seen water pumps out b4 and idk why it would cause it to red line. If not related, what else would cause the red line issue? Throttle cable is not stuck! Maybe TPS? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

throttle body not closing all the way or a severe vacuum leak? have you taken your intake off at all recently?
