Default Blown headgasket?

OK, so i recently bought a 1990 toyota supra turbo. has about 98k miles and ran great, until i was spewing engine coolant, hearing bubbles behind dash, and loss of power. Im pretty confident the hg is blown. This thing is basically bone stock besides a k&n air filter. I plan on tearing it apart and buying a whole gasket kit but i dont kno which one to buy? i dont plan on modding it either, and its stil running stock boost. Help please????

the HG is defective from the factory. too low torque specs.
do you have milky looking oil on your dipstick? do you have oil in your overflow? those are signs of a BHG. tons of info on what to look for in the faq, give it a browse.

The bubbles behind the dash is air in your heater core. The heater core is located behind the dash and is lower then your rad cap. so air will travel through the system and collect in the HC making that waterfall sound you hear. all other issues aside if you jack the front end up and remove the rad cap and let the car warm up for 15 minutes adding fluid it will "burp" your coolant system. also covered in the FAQ (or it should be)
as for your gasket kit. just get the one for the 7mgte.
Good luck man.

hey no theres no milky oil, nothing in the radiator, so i caught it really really early, but idk if i should get the stock hg because ive heard its alot more forgiving? Instead of a metal one

you don't need a metal HG. not unless your planning on running 30# or more of boost. A larger question you should be asking yourself is do I want bolts vs studs.. bolts are fine and thats what ive used. studs are better but not defiantly needed. just remember to torque them above spec.

Do your self a favor and when you go to reoil/clean that K&N toss it in the trash instead and by a good Dry flow air filter from AEM, HKS or even stock.

The K&N are notorious for not only allowing too much debris into the engine... Also there is probably a 80% chance when you reoil it that its going to destroy your AFM.
