Default good to be back

Hello, I have been out of the game for a few years. Im working on my mk3 turbo again. Im having a serious prob in the rear end. It all started when i started hearing a clicking noise coming from the right side rear wheel (i was thinking cv probs). Then things got really weird, when I hit the gas my whole ass end shears to the right, feels like being on ice, very scary. O and the clicking only happens under acceleration. Any thoughts?? Thanks guys

sounds like bearings or cv joints...not familiar with the mk3 rear ends, do they have a live axle or IRS...if its IRS then id say its the cv joint worn out and getting side load. live axle, then bearings, either pinion or axle, or a bad center section.
