So I got the new bushings for the shifter, now I'm popping in and out of gears(first and second and once on fifth) and grinded first and second... There brand spanking new...why is it doing this now?

just go to a parts store and say you need the clutch lines. or take yours off and take them in, they can usually bend the hardlines and get you replacement soft lines when you take them the actual parts.

Props for tackling the swap. Many talk about wanting to do it but I hardly see anyone actually do it.
Braided steel clutch hoses that go from the master to the slave cylinders are available. I believe they're made just for swaps and eliminate the hardline and the hose. I think mine is from Drift Motion. Very happy with it. http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...clutchhose.php |

Well, my opinion is, it was definitely worth the $45. It fits and looks great (especially if you have other braided hoses) and is of decent quality. Not to mention it solves your clutch hose problem entirely. It says in the ad that it fits r154 or w58 but one phone call to them could confirm that.
