Rear Speakers
Hey everyone,
Due to some third window leaks I'm doing some rust repair and body work in the trunk. Since all of the rear moldings are out, and that I have been thinking about this for a while, I was wondering if anyone has done some custom work for the rear speakers? As we all know the rear speakers in the MKIII are...shit...lol. I really want to get some 6'x9's back there but do not want the trashy look of 6'x9' boxes floating around my trunk. I was thinking about fitting them in the same spot as the old speakers, just removing the old plastic acoustic box and somehow fitting a custom 6'x9' set up in the same place. I'm pretty sure it could fit/work I was just hoping that someone had already done this and can help out before I go all Frankenstein on a custom set up. Any help and or ideas are welcome. Thanks y'all
