Just wondering if this is a decent price
Ok i have an 87 supra with a 7mge 5spd with a rod knock that i rently picked up for $600. i also picked up a 2jz-ge (non-vvti) from an is300 for $600 (I have alot of plans for this motor). Anyways I know a guy thats willing to sell me an r154 trans, driveshaft, and rear diff for $500 he claims that he bought his 88 supra with a blown turbo and is too frustrated to fix so he's parting it out. $500 seems to me like a decent price but what things should i look for when checking it out? Thanks

That is an awesome deal on an r154 but you need to remember that the belhousing from 7m and jz are different. So if it is out of a 7m u need to get a belhousing for a jz. Driftmotion sells jus the bellhousing but it will cost a little less then ur paying for your tranny!
