wont go past 2,000 rpms in any gear... HELP!
 

i have a 1987 toyota supra (turbo)

yesterday i started it up to just drive around town since i havnt driven it in a few days. its running fine and all for probably 3 miles and then started having this problem

in any gear, or nuetral, i couldnt get the engine to rev past 2k rpms

it has done this before but then fixed itself so i didnt worry about it... and now im curious of what is making this problem so i can have it fixed asap.

any suggestions on what i should check out?
ive never herd anything like this so i have absolutely no clue as to what to look for.

id check the TPS and KVAFM and possibly the CPS. those are the only few things i can think of that deal with rpm limitation at the moment..

did you check your codes.
