Replace HG on a good motor?
I'm getting ready to buy another 7m from one of the engine dealers (wish me luck) and I wanted to get opinions on if I should take the head off when it comes in and just replace the hg. I figure I can take the head off clean up the block and any gunk replace the hg and get new arp bolts and then put it back together. Thoughts?

A used engine which you know nothing about....? Rebuild it while it's out... There's a lot more to worry about than the HG.
