Question? Would a porsche trans be installed in a 7mg engine?
Just wondering if a porsche transmision would be able to fit on a 7mge/gt engine and would it be better than the r-154 and w58,what would you need to make it work if it does? Just wodering and hope someone has an answer?

i would imagine you would need to have a bell housing made or an adapter plate to go on the trans. to fit a w/58 or r154 housing. and a custom flywheel.
if your engine is Yoda and your car is Yoda, make ity simple and keep your trans YODA

theres no reason the r154 wouldnt be strong enough. got a buddy running about 500 through his stock one, no problems and he drives it hard (its in his buggy). but if its something you want to do, and you got some money, mad machinist skills or a good buddy that has said skills, i dont see why not. as long as you can get the proper type of clutch setup with it, you should be able to use the stock type supra flywheel and pressure plate, and a porsche disk. canadian, how goes the car/engine building?
