Need help with vacuum
1 Attachment(s)
Can anyone tell me where the two red arrows go to. I dont have a vacuum fitting on the passenger side of my motor and I dont see a vacuum fitting on the power steering reservoir. Oh and where does the purge line from the charcoal canister go to? After these questions have been answered I'll be done. Thanks in advance.

The other is a metal bracket with the vacuum tube on it mounted near the front driver side of the engine. There's actually a lot of vacuum lines running around over there, so it can be missed if you aren't looking in exactly the right area. I'll have to take a look at my bay to see where the charcoal lines run. |

thanks. I figured out one of them runs to the vacuum fitting on the air box. I've attached another picture, can someone tell me where that line goes to. I dont see any more open fittings on the driver side block. Thanks again.

Purge line from charcoal canister goes to the BVSV on the thermostat housing, should have 2 fittings on it and from the top of it to the left side of your throttle body when looking at it from the drivers fended. This is to keep your combustion temp down after warm up.

Can you post a pic of the line you're talking about on or near the TB? Can't tell for sure which line you mean from that diagram.

OK last question I hope. Where does the line from the image run to? For some reason the people who installed the last motor in the car before I got have a line running to a vacuum T and then short line on one side and a really long one on the other. Hopefully after this I'm done. Thanks!

Looking at your picture, I will suggest this is the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) line, which runs across the cam covers and on to the turbo intake.
