Bog down at idle while throttling @ cold
S.O.B
I know it has to be one of my kvafm wires.. but S.O.B ive been late to work yesterday and today... once it gets to normal operating temp I can throttle and drive fine. no codes after operating temp. but before then, it'l start and idle but when I throttle it bogs down and wants to die.. throws a code.. I checked it once, thought it was 31 cant recall. Lucky I work for a relative, but this week is our busiest weak of the year "H.O.F enshrinement."

SOB! Prolly is the wires. Easy enough to test. Were you using an oily K&N filter?
Well, now you have an excuse to get the lex afm and 550's. |

yea ez enough to test but I have literally 0 time this week.
I allready have the Lex honeycomb. anyone wanna throw me some 550's ? I know damn well its the freaking wire, nothing else really fits. Guess Ill have to either 1, start my car periodically in the middle of the night or 2, leave 30 minutes earlier so I can let my car idle for 20 and come up to temp... NOT GOOD for either me or the car tho..

or 3, get up 30 minutes earlier and fix the wire instead of warming it up? It will take like 15 minutes. The wires go bad right at the connector most of the time.

Yep, do it all day. You need a meter. Have you tried the SAFC2? Select the KVAFM screen and check for any action there. The wires are probably very brittle (thanks turbo!) and they tend to break because the afm is mounted to the chassis and the wiring is mounted to the engine. There is some movement between the two. Visually check the wiring very closely, look at the pins both in the sensor and on the connector. Give each wire a gentle tug at the connector (found most of them this way). If the wiring checks out visually, start doing the meter tests. If you have any problems or questions, well...you know how this works.
