Default 7mgte build suggestions or link?

i've looked around on the forum for a while now and cant find a good build post. i want to know everything i can do to my 7mgte to get the most power out of it without upgrading the turbo but leaving room for that later. i was hoping around 350 bhp. suggested brands would be nice too. any links or suggestions would be greatly appriciated. thanks in advance

Not sure how accurate it is, but it's a start.

For now sense I still have stock Internals I was wanting to get 300hp. But leave room for an upgraded turbo for after I rebuild if and out forged rods and pistons. What I really need to know is was kind of tuning system and fuel management.

well, you can crack 300 pretty easy with a gte, with a boost controller, better FMIC, lexus afm and 550cc's, down pipe and exhaust, then something like a Apexi SAFC. but that only "fools" the stock computer, so it can provide more or less fuel.

if you want to fully control spark and fuel though, a standalone EMS is a good idea. AEM, maftpro, megasquirt etc. are just a few of the full capability standalone systems.

they are great, but you have to be careful. you can blow up ur motor quick. you can learn how to use them if you are careful, but most times for first time users its best to let a professional at a dyno shop take the controls.

I'm definatly am getting pro dyno tune. But I want to have room in my tuning system to push 500 to maybe 600 bhp after I rebuild it in the winter. So should a save for the aem end upgrades or is there something else?

any of the systems should be able to support a high hp build. if you get a full standalone, you wont have to worry about your tuning after you rebuild. just make sure whoever you have tune it knows what they are doing.

Dont waste your time or money on the piggybacks. If you're planning on 600HP by next year (you know you are), just get the stand alone now. It can handle anything from a "stock" tune to beyond 600hp. Tuning time is expensive but necessary if you want it to run right and last long.
