Exhaust gasket's
Okay, I have a 3inch down pipe and 2.5inch exhaust. I went up to summit racing to buy gaskets for my exhaust but they had none that would fit my car......I don't know how many other people have this problem but this is how I went about it and maybe it might help someone
I purchased a sheet of Mr Gasket 24inches long and 8inches wide I then traced every line, when doing this pay extra attention to the bolt locations and holes.....They have to be perfect! I used industrial wire snips and it leaves kind of a jagged edge. I will show you what I did to take care of that. So then I placed the gasket in a clamp and used a drill to poke holes where the bolts will go through and where I will snip a hole out of the middle for the exhaust To smooth out the edges I used a zip tool with sand paper round bits....It takes a while but I believe to have a good seal it had to be done Here is what I ended up with...Not bad for my first time I think....Going from left to right you can see I did get better and better as I went on I actually had fun doing this....Nothing like custom fabricating your own parts....Even if it is just some gaskets lol

Thanks......That middle gasket in the last pic after I took that pic I had to re-do the bolt holes.....I think that's what took the most time man the bolt holes have to be perfect.......But so far no leaking exhaust from what I can tell.......That 3inch down pipe and 2.5inch exhaust made a hell of a difference!......Only problem I had was I could not get the turbo elbow off so I had to leave the stock one on there and couldn't use the gasket that came out the best......One day when I have time I will try to get it off again
