MKIII Headers 7MGE
I finally fixed my head gasket problem. Yup. Took me several weeks to get it done. Anyhow, I'm looking for performance options, mostly in agility. Finding suspension mods and kits are easy however, what I'm having a lot of trouble finding is performance upgrades for my N/A. I'm not looking for much. I just want bigger headers (Intake and Exhaust) and a good intake system. I know it's not a lot of power I ask for. I can't find a thing. Just OEM replacements. I'm not worried about price. I just want to know where to look. Also, any tuning shops in South Cali?

I've seen many headers on Ebay for 7M-GE N/A.
Also Horsepowerfreaks. Other sources available with a google search.... As for intakes, the 1JZ to 7M intake is popular, but requires very good aluminum welding.. And, for N/A, this set-up is WICKED SICK!!! Too bad a turbo upgrade packs way more punch than any of this. I'd save your money for a 7M-GTE or a 1JZ/2JZ swap. The best thing you can do for the N/A is either leave it completely alone, or convert from the VAFM to a 2.75" MAF or a MAP based setup. Ceramic coating on all intake and exhaust components would be good too. As for the exhaust, don't go too large or you're actually going to hurt performance. I'd say nothing bigger than 2.5" dia and as straight as possible. High flow cat, true helmholtz resonator (like the ones Aero Turbine make) and a good quality straight through muffler (love dem Borlas!).

On eBay obx makes a nice stainless steal header. But if u get it I would have it heat coated or wrapped it gives off alot of heat and it comes in to parts I would get them weld and have the o2 sensor bung moved up. For the intake u can have a shop weld up a pipe that goes from the throttlebody to afm. Then u can put a k&n filter on but put a box around it or get it into the fender to keep heat away.

K&N is crap (not just because of the KVAFM killing oil)... I'd recommend AEM, Amsoil or Apex'i air filters... AEM is the least expensive.
