1990 Manual : Clutch Release Bearing how to?
 
i took my tranny out to change my clutch and i seem to have forgotten how to put this back to gether with the new one as i took apart a week ago i cant rember and its the only thing stoping me from putting my car back to gether again i knew how dumb of me right so plz help me if u can

no that really doesn't help doesnt tell me if i put the fork first or the bearing and how the clip locks them both together but thanks for trying

It's not that hard. Clip the bearing to the fork, slide the bearing onto the input shaft and line up the fork through the access hole, then pop the fork onto the pivot. Bam! You're done.

The clip just holds the bearing to the fork. The bearing is pinched between the fork and the clutch pressure plate, and rides along the transmission input shaft, so there is nowhere else it can go.
