Ok I got a hold of the carbon fiber guy He has a new web site www.c7carbon.com* all the mk3 parts r not posted yet but soon they will. All so u can email him at retrospec.carbon@gmail.com about the speaker housings.

I'm surprised it took this long for a shop to offer speaker pods for that location. If you look in the galleries of various forums it's been a well welcome custom mod for over a decade... and it makes a LOT more sense there than in the door panels (ala '92+ models).

Yeah I about to order a set of them to I just got 6.5" speaker housing for my doors from a 92 supra. I also have a set of 5.25" door speaker housings From a 90 supra

I take it u just have to get the door panel for the 6.5" fronts. How much did that run ya?

No I already have the 92 door panels in my 89. I paid 80$ plus shipping off eBay and like 70$ on the 5.25" that I'm going to be selling cause no need for them now since I have my 6.5"s.

ah i see. yeah i may get the door panels like that but im going to see how it sounds with just these new speaker pods. Just started looking at interior stuff again cause im getting my car painted and the interior is maroon which matches what the exterior is now
