1987 Engine Swap
Hey guys I Was wondering if I could just buy a Turbo engine off of www.jdmsource.ca, and directly boly it into a supra na ,the third gen, without any major problems other than having to run a boost control meter and possibly switching out an ecu or engine harness. Please tell me all the problems so I can make the choice weither or not to save up for a NA and make the swap or Just buy a Turbo car. Thanks soo much Guys

if you get a wiring harness & ecu for the same year as yours
i.e. yours 86-88 yellow plug... get a wiring harness & ecu from a turbo 86-88 or if yours is 89-92 get a grey plug turbo harness from and 89-92 and it should be plug n play dunno bout the dash side of things tho.. i haven't done an na- turbo swap personally i think you have to change out the tacho... anyone else?
