Mustang rims on my Lemons Supra
Ok guys,
just finished the Infineon 24 hours of Lemons race, another top 10% finish for the supra, 15th out of 164 starters, This was the 11th 15 - 20 hour endurance race on this motor, we have done nothing to it except change the oil. looks like it finally gave up - BHG most likely, but we still finished. Thas not what i need here, turns out we saw another supra with 17 inch rims and wider, that they say came off a mustang. Is that true? idf so - what years? we need to up our traction profile - going to the 17 inch will allow us to go from 225 to 255, a big advantage. anyone know? not looking for fancy expensive wheels, cheap and functional are where it's at for us! '94 to '04 GT or Cobra will work... There are several different styles and sizes (17" and 18"; 8", 9" and 10"). I think that the 17s from lower models of some generations were narrower and I doubt I'd like the feel of a 255 on a 7" or even 8" rim; Especially on a track for hours upon hours.
There's a huge thread on this over on SM. I'll try to find it and post a link for you.

Ok so i found a set of aluminum mustang GT 17 inch wheels. 17X 10 inches wide - hopefully no issues with offset and fitment!
