quick release steering wheel hub
I need to put a quick release wheel on the lemons car. i can find wilwood and several others that have a weld on hub, but i would much rather have some sort of bolt on hub, in case I needed to pull it for some reason.
I find one for GM - 36 spline, or ford 40 spline - but i do not know what would fit. The car is not here right now - I know it is a 3/4 inch shaft - but do not know the spline count. anyone know a source of a bolt on quick release hub? and also - anyone know the spline count for the toyotas? Thanks everybody Carl Johansson |
A MKIV hub should fit fine. It's not considered a direct fit as it doesn't work with the MKIII's on wheel cruise control.

eBay has hubs but I don't know if they r weld or bolt.

You might find more information here:
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...ing-wheel-hubs At a glance it seemed to have decent info. I know I've seen this discussed on SM too. Other than finding someone who has their wheel off and can take measurements I don't think it's likely that youlll find a lot more info.... It's not something a lot of Supra owners worry about. You might also look for a thread on SM about swapping in newer Celica wheels, I think that had some fitment info. |
