A/C clutch will not engage 4 several hours
I recently converted to R134a. I added the correct amount of oil( I think) and replaced the o-rings and dryer. When initially re-charging it the suction pressure got down to 5# and the clutch did not engage but since i was still adding freon I just kept adding. Several minutes later the clutch disengaged and would not re-engage. The next moring it engaged just fine the did the same thing again.
I replaced the low and high pressure switches but still have the same problem. Any ideas? |
