So i have searched this forum pretty damn religously, I am looking for some wheel and tire Specs, I did find a HUGE Thread about it, but stated nothing about 16" wheels. I have a friend of mine that is selling some Custom Steelies.
What i would like is to know if a 16x7 with a 0 offet will be able to fit my Mk3 with little issue. The car at this time is on stock Suspention. I am totally new to the wheel offset thing. I know that the stock Sawblades are 16x7 with a 37mm offset. So to speak if i wanted to see exactly where the rim will fit according to the fender, i can measure from the lip of the rim and 37mm outward and that would be a 0 Offset? Is that how that would work if i wanted to measure where a 0 offset would be compared to the stock sawblade Offset? I just came across another wheel i like it is a steel wheel also, it is a 16x8 and +12MM Offset, i think that this wheel would actually be better as i could toss like what a 245's on a 8" wheel? I want a more Flush look than the sawblades, but i really dont want to much Poke! Thanks for the help Last edited by Turboron_99; 12-03-2011 at 08:37 AM. |
