new to the mkIII supra
 

hey guys

i have just bought a G reg (uk) supra ive got the 3.0Ltr Turbo in white with no mods whatsoever.

basically i am turning to you guys as the fonts of all supra knowladge on where to start/how to go about tuning up my motor and bringing it back to its former glory.

i also own a J reg celica (baby supra lol) 2.0Ltr G.T.I which i have had the engine and running gear restored to as close as damnit new condidtion.

hoping for the same with the supra being as it is the supirior and looks a damn sight better.

well you can do it the long way(suggested) or the quik way
but for starters, buy a mhg(metal headgasket) and some arp head studs...for when ur head gasket pops :)

the long way is:
rip motor out, disassemble completely, new/better pistons,rods,bearings,
basically build it ground up
same as any motor
just make sure to buy that headgasket first

short way, bolt ons....plain nd simple haha
new turbo, turbo manifold, intake, injectors, lexus afm(or supra sport afm)
walboro fuel pump, and a rear spoiler that 6ft high

personally id go the long route because then you know the motor will handle the power you want to throw at it
