Default Front facing intake manifold for 7mgte

Ok so i went searching on here for info for a ffim for my 7mgte and i found a thread saying that the 1jz or 2jz intake will bolt right up to the 7mgte i wanted to know if this is true or not. i have a friend wit a spare 2jz intake and wanted to know if its worth it on not before throwing away my $ for no reason. any info would help thanks

No. Neither will fit the 7M.

the 7m intake is a 2 piece design, as well as the 1j
chop the mating flanges off of both and weld the 7m to the 1j

IIRC, the runners are configured differently. You have to chop off the end tanks and weld on the full runner assembly from the 7M.... Either way, it's not a "bolt on" mod.

Check out eBay there is some nice looking custom ones on there starting at 350$ and goes up.
