A mk3 supra isn't that heavy. You just need to find the right car to compare to like a 2012 Fisker Karma weighing in at 5300lbs. :D

According to MotorTrend it's only 4100lbs; Car and Driver estimates 4300lbs.... BUT with over 400whp electric.... keep looking. :bigthumb:

Sorry it was the Karma Ecochic and I found it in a recent issue of Car and Driver that it was listed with a curb weight of 5297lbs.

Oh, most of this thread should not be taken too seriously.... except for the red interior thing.

Ecochic.... Eco - Chic.... Eco = Ecosystem != Economical.... The answer's in the name if you interpret it correctly; It has fish tanks and a small lawn in the back seat! :p

Seriously though, a hybrid 4dr sedan which real-world road tests show only get 20MPG? It'll sell too, because it's "hybrid".

The grey of my cars interior is quite drab. Red would look a not nicer. My guy is so drab that the Amish would approve of it, as long as it was pulled by a horse ;)

Fish tanks in a car, the C&O railroad put fish tanks in one of its lounge cars. The fish were killed by the motion of the car.

Would love to change my guy over to natural gas. There is lots of it here in Oklahoma and I think the price is going to up soon on petrol. If there is a war with Iran there will be severe rationing.

Yes Fisker does did get some criticism because of its mpg rating. So what ever happened to the electric powered mk3 that was on here?

That would have been Dan. A VERY impressive build/conversion! He was a moderator on here, resigned and created a new account. He only posted a couple times with the new account and I don't think he's been back at all in quite a while.

But you can check that monster out here:

I would love to do something similar with a MR-2, Elise or maybe a boxster of one form or another... a small 2 seater.

i know this is a bit off topic but to quote what i said earlier "whats the deal whith the dampner on the rack and pinion, does it really serve a function or not" i just came back from autocross, i tryed it whith it on and off. whith it off the steering feels more natural (easier to handle) but on the road i felt no diffrence on bumps, but also the dampner i have is compleatly shot and doesent do much of anything but randomly compress and tug the rack and pinion arm. Basickly i like it off but i would like to try whith a new one but im not paying 300$ to try it outhttp://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...ons/icon12.gif

any why is every thing for a mk3's suspension expensive weather its ball joints or bushings its all very expensive.... not somthing i would have expected from toyota, maby lexus
