Default Tranny swap

I have a 1991 mk3 supra turbo auto. I made the mistake of buying it automatic. Wat would be the range for a price on a tranny swap?

i purchased my supra as an auto aswell. its not a big deal.
front drive shaft, w58 or better, clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinders lines, clutch and brake pedals from a 5 speed. i may be missing somthings but either way a clutch worth buying is gona run you about 200 dollers. and a trans flywheel and all the other could be up to 500 dollers.

its probly worth buying a parts car, one that does not run so its cheap.

I have no clue how to do a tranny swap myself. How much would it cost for labor at a shop?

Where can you get a clutch for $200? A new one costs a lot more than that and used ones tend to be trash. A drifter can burn one out in no time flat! My guy came to me with a burnt up clutch. Am positive he was drifted and even if not clutches especially 24 year old ones are OLD.

You can get an OEM equivalent for about that much... or if you're just looking for a disc you can get some performance discs if you shop around.

$1000, roughly, ive seen it cheaper but also seen it up to $3000

i did it myself with no knowledge at all.. its a cake walk if you know where these components go, if not talk to mechanics and friends who know

pressure plate and housing for non turbo was about 200. i get a better deal now though...
if you shop online you could find one cheaper.
i would never put a used clutch back on a flywheel.
