it means you could put 20k into your mk3 and only get 7k if you sold it:rofl2:

It means you need to take the proper steps to have it insured and documented. You can put hours and hours of work as well as thousands of dollars and then have some idiot take you out on the road. And if things weren't done right they are certainly not going to give you enough to rebuild your 25 year old car back to the way it was.

well my daily driver is a 2005 g6 that puts out 200 stock. That was good for the past few years but ive been wanting alot more lately. Im really looking to get 300 to 350 hp. I know horsepower isnt everything. but as far as numbers go thats what im going for

Well you answered your own question. You need to sell your Supra and go out and buy new American mule. There are a couple of American gomi mussel cars to choose from. The when some drunk hits you there ia a higher payment to you. FYI all of these are considered "imports" due to their low US content. Second, well no work! You can get that "great gm feeling".

Could of made it shorter and said that restoring my 25 year old is an act of Love. It has nothing to do with resale value or accidents. If a kid wrecks him I will sue the parents :))

if you enjoy the power, it will be something you have to do.

Hey I just tell it the way it is. I think the "supra" name draws the inexperienced into buying a car they think they can just buy and go fast with ease. I've had many people buying supra parts from me who I could tell had a a lot to learn. But if you call it love so be it. What you do with your supra behind closed garage doors is your business. :bouncy:

The mk4 supra turbo has 320hp not 280hp the 1jz has 280hp

CanadianBak'inSupra 02-20-2012 01:52 PM

pretty nice car...if i had the money...:outahere:

I was basing that number off my friends Jdm 2jz out of an Aristo. But I also forgot about the rule that Japan has only recently dropped of advertised hp being limited to 276. So maybe the US version is more.

Yes the JDM 2jz said to have 280 but like In my link but I'm sure Toyota lied about it to pass there rules. Like ford did for the fox body mustangs
