fracking aftermarket pedals
The guy before me put on some strange pedals, gas, brake and clutch. How do I bring him back to stock?
|
search for stock pedals.
take yours out. put stock ones back in. |
All I have now is the brake and clutch rubber. How much do I have to change?
|
How much you're going to have to change depends on just how much the previous owner changed. Most aftermarket pedals are just bolt on plates which fasten on top of the stock pedal... the most you have to do with these is remove them (sometimes they're epoxied too) and replace the OEM rubber pads on the bare metal pedals.
Worst case you'll need to replace the full arms (the pedals are welded to their respective arms). |
the arms are not to difficult to remove as uncomfortable.
i have never seen any replacement arms although i have never looked. it would be lot easier if you had another supra to compare too. |
there is only one other Supra in town, the problem is I do not know what the assembly is suppose to look like. there is a Supra for sale with a bad engine, not sure if I need another :)
|
Pedals aren't that heavy. If you're sure they've been altered beyond repair then just order a used set from someone who's parting out.
