"Light Auto Turn Off System"
The "Light Auto Turn Off System" on my stock 88 MK3 suddenly decided to quit working. When the ignition key is turned off and the driver's door is opened, the lights are supposed to automatically turn off to save the battery. I searched the forum and could find nothing. The TSRM (TEWD) does have a schematic at:

The integration relay and the door switch are the two most common causes. Certain rewire mods also cause this. If the dome light comes on when the door is open and the exterior lighting system hasn't been modified then the integration relay is most likely the culprit.

Thanks for the quick reply. The dome light works fine (including fade) from the door switch, so I will check the integration relay and post results.
UPDATE: The car Gods are smiling on me today. In my attempt to locate the integration relay #2, (which is under the dash just above the left knee), I must have wiggled some wires or something because after I reassembled everything, it NOW WORKS properly! I tried to remove the relay to examine it, but could not pull it loose. Since I was also moving the cable, that may have done something. BTW, before reassembly, I checked with the dealer who advised the list is $310 but it has been discontinued. I googled "integration relay Toyota Supra" and found one from villagetoyotaparts.com for $205. At this point I decided it was worth $205 to just remember to turn off the lights. After reassembly I decided to check it and it WORKED! My lucky day.... Thanks for your help and advice "cre"...
