smog test... big problem
i know theres other threads about this however not sure if its exactly like mine...
so i failed emissions and i took it to a shop where they told me i had huge intake leaks so they replaced the idle control gasket and upper plenum gasket. my alternator was also bad so they replaced it as well. when fixed, they noticed emissions were still high so they went ahead and did a compression test. turns out im low on compression. #1 - 150 #2 - 250 #3 - 250 #4 - 250 #5 - 250 #6 - 205 i know i have a serious problem, my question is, is there any way to maybe even try to pass emissions? im in az and my previous results were hc 5.68 limit is 1.60 co 85.81 limit is 15.00 nox 3.23 limit is 2.50 thanks |
