W58 transmission rebuild?
So I'm thinking about rebuilding my W58. Does anybody have any experience with this transmission? I have done several engine rebuilds and have the TSRM, as well as many many tools. I can get rebuild kits all day long with bearings, seals, and synchros. But what if I need gears? Does anybody know where to get those?
Thanks!! |

Oh, the reason I'm thinking about doing this is my W58 is on the way out, and I have not been able to find any low-mileage ones for sale. All the ones I've been able to find have 200,000+ miles on them...

You can get the gears from Toyota.... provided they haven't been discontinued.
