88 supra got a problem
i have an 88 supra not turbo. So i've been reading these forum for awhile, but not found answer to this problem.
My problem is when car gets hot an stop turn it off. then get back in it an turn the key, she will turn over an over but not start. but if i let it sit for what feels like 4ever she start right up. previous owner said his mechanic told him the ignition control module has getting hot an not starting the car but once it cool down it was fine. Is this correct? is this a common problem with supra's? cuz the part is $400 bucks an i don't have $400 buck jus toss at something that might not even be the cause. Any help be greatful, thank you. |

See the FAQ section for info on how to check for diagnostic codes stored in the ECU. No, it is not a common problem and you should not blindly throw money at it, you'll be broke in a week if you get in that habit.
