Just checking in, been a while!
Hey all, hope everyone's well in the world of A70. Not been on for time but don't worry too much (like anyone was lol!) just checking in and to say I've still got the black beastie, although she's still stripped & waiting on the insurance people to cut the red tape & pay the f**k up (solicitor reckons matter of weeks now) before my plans for the new turbo & injectors etc can finally begin.
That being the state of play, I'll see y'all again when I've actually got something worth reporting...

Hey cre hope you're good?
Nah luckily it wasn't my baby that got hit, I got skittled off the plastic maggot (Hoda CX500) I used to ride & now wear titanium plates in my jaw and a stainless pin in my leg. This was May 2010 and am still waiting on the guy's insurance. (to start with they tried to tell me my tyres were bald, not that it woulda made a difference on that dry day if they were.) Anyway, long story short my solicitor's been riding their a$$es and now they're accepting liability at last & I'm just waiting on their offer. The Supra was fine until the crappy silicone BOV signal pipe ruptured whilst accelerating hard & when I lifted off the old CT26 (running at 12psi anyway, but coping just) decided it didn't like the feel of compressor surge at that kind of speed and broke the turbine wheel clean off the shaft to show it's disgust... So rather than ruin another CT26 in a few thousand miles I'm waiting to do the job properly with a hybrid, injectors & basically make the whole car better than is was before.

Oh, I'm well enough I suppose.... My new puppy's broken leg's finally headed well enough to ditch the cast and she's a complete terror. The new house always has something delightful to fix.... And I've got a troubled 17 year old niece who wants to move in with my wife and I for the next year or so.... Yay! So, ups and downs... Thanks for asking.
I forgot about the bike wreck, I recall reading your previous posts about it. Ouch. I'm very sorry to hear it took them this long to cough up and do right by you. Are you mending well?

Huh, has it really been THIS long?
Seriously, more than 6 months since I last got on here and finally we have funds available for the Supra's reincarnation, albeit probably not so much modified as I'd planned... Wow, our legal system sucks!!! cre, a puppy a house move and family trouble... sounds like you had your plate plenty full as well while I've been effectively hibernating from the supra-meddling thing, what pup is it? (or what pup WAS it? I guess... she'll be all grown up now?).
