Rim Width???
Does anyone know how wide of a rim you can fit on the back of an 87 turbo?

so far have 9.5's on the back of dads supra, but thats boderline, mine will have 10's but thats with severe body work, being that it started off as narrow body, so back guards are being pumped out about 2".

sorry so was it the 9.5's that needed the body work or the 10's?

I have 94' TT wheels on the back of my 90Turbo. They're 17x9.5 with 265/40 tires. No rubbing whatsoever.

sorry, the 9.5's are on a widebody, but they only just fit under the guards with 235 tyres, we're thinking when we go to 265's that the tyre will no longer be under the guard. mostly think that it is due to the offset of the wheels, as it's a bit more dish than usual. there's no rubbing whatsoever, but yeah. go to a tyre shop, and they should be able to measure your car so that they can work out what size rim/tyre can be fit with what offset.
