LOL! And it still probably outweighs a Paseo by 800lbs! Permanent convertible? Nah, duct tape, tarp and some PVC and you've got a badass DIY MKIII Spyder.
So which person in the vid are you?

Yeah I took a lot of weight off it. The wheel gaps are huge and I bet it has as much ground clearance as any subaru out there. I am the one behind the camera. Its said but true that most mk3s are worth more in parts then as a whole. I just got another mk3 NA 5spd for 400 today.

http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...ft-pulley.html <-- could use a cheap crankshaft I think.
It is sad how little they're worth these days. Seems they're either worth $500 or $5,000 and nothing in between or higher or lower.

The car did not look rusty to me, I see people who part out good cars as chicken thief's. Between drifters and strippers soon there will only be a few left. Maybe none, problem is children only see the now.

Yeah it was rusty. Mk3s tend to rust in hidden places. Just to start each rear wheel well has a hole big enough to put a fist through. But don't hate me, hate the long line of back yard mechanics that try to "fix" them. The red tube on the intake is made from a fire extinguisher. They replaced a fender brace with a wooden dowel and electrical tape. And the front bumper with just make you laugh. Plus it has 250K on it.
