Guess what I found?
Its something your mk3 probably had but disappeared a long time ago and most mk3 owners don't know they exist.

Ok... So it's not the heated seats and probably not the 7M-GTE equipped with traction control.
Engine bay or fog light undercovers? Wheel well covers? These always seem to be missing every time I look under a MKIII.

Its the engine bay undercover. I was amazed to see it. Its no wonder they don't get back on since its not a needed part and it has about 8 bolts holding it up. Do you think it makes much of a difference? Its also had the plug wire cover for the distributor which is also a little rare.

I was thinking dizzy wire cover since I've only seen one N/A with it (mine), but I'd say the engine bay under cover is pretty rare lol. I'd imagine it'd help with cooling, channeling air from the front of the car as well as keeping crap off the engine and components, allowing a better heat transfer

All of the under covers and the wheel well covers help smooth the flow of air under the car and the primary engine undercover helps ensure that air coming in through the grill is pushed through the intercooler, radiator, oil cooler and a/c condensor instead of 60% just going out under the car (and increasing front end lift at higher speeds). Going without it out of laziness makes as much sense as going without the radiator shroud for the same reason.

Well I just bought another rust bucket 87 Na and it appears to have another undercover. When he brought the car the guy probably thought I was crazy since I got so excited over the blue driver side floor mat I found. But hey now my car has a complete oem set in blue and still in good shape.

Wow.... You probably would have gone nuts over my last N/A. All four floormats, toolkit AND TOYOTA tool bag, distributor cover, 3rd valve cover gasket, complete radiator fan shroud, all 5 undercovers, etc.
Really though, it's not too surprising that most of these cars are missing so much. I mean floor mats get sucked out windows all the time at those crazy high speeds, right?

Well this 87 would have been such a nice car if it hadn't been left to sit for 7 years. It was a one owner car. It had everything with it including the owners manual and Toyota service brochure as well as the dealer envelope it came in. Even has the original radio with tape player. But wow you should see the rust. There is a whole under the battery big enough to put you hand through.
