i have 88 turbo im not getting fuel or fire and i put new fuel pump in it neone know what problem could be im new at owning this car i switched over from honda to toyota

Hi! Questions ? was the car running before you changed the pump - why did you need to change it ? , is the new pump working ? ( live? - check the fuse ! ) ? , how much petrol have you got in the tank ? , did you reverse the piping when you fitted the new pump ( could be an internal blockage ! ) . Create a check list ,ticking off as you go through it .

No fuel and no spark? Does the ECU have power (does the check engine light turn on when the ignition is turned to "ON")? Look in the MKIII FAQ section for information on checking the ECU for stored diagnostic/error codes and report back with your findings.
