The 7M-GTE's KVAFM isn't very restrictive at all until you start getting into some of the significantly larger turbos. A fuel controller and better intercooler may be a better use of your money.

Anyway, I haven't heard anything about the v3 on the 7M but I really hope it's less finicky than the v2 was. A lot of people found it to be a major headache. Wiring should be very simple, probably similar to the MAFT Pro's wiring.

Well I'm going big turbo and my afm code came up a few days ago. The little bit I have heard about it is that it is a lot better.

Looking around a bit it seems to get the same feedback as the earlier versions and the MAFT Pro (which I have a lot of personal experience with). A lot of people feel it temperamental and tough to get running smoothly, would go with a standalone if they had to do it over again, think the learning curve was too steep and ended up paying a shop to tune it all... You see the same complaints for anyone running any number of piggybacks though, in this case they're all just rolled into one unit. If the '3' is easier to tune and has a simpler learning cure then have at it. If not you might want to learn on something which isn't going to cripple your car while you figure it out.
