Redline Accessories Leather Shift Boots and Armrest Cover!
Hey guys, I wanted to post a review along with some pictures of the new leather shift boot, handbrake boot, and armrest cover I got for my car from Redline Accessories. I had ordered some vinyl ones from a different place and I wasn't real happy with them, they ripped within just a few weeks and didn't look as good as I wanted them to. I found Redline Accessories and decided I would order their samples to see if any matched the stock maroon interior in our cars.
I got samples from them and the saddle brown leather was almost a perfect match. I ended up ordering a shift boot, handbrake boot, armrest cover, and a 4in x 4in piece of leather with hemmed edges to put under the passenger seat bottom to keep it from tearing on the adjuster knob. Their communication was great, very fast and informative. The company is based in Poland, but I still got my products in the mail in less than two weeks. As soon as I opened the package I knew that it was real leather because of the smell. The leather is also very soft, thick, and has a great texture. The stitching is also clean and very straight. The items fit perfectly and were easy to install. I didn't even have to glue the armrest down, I was able to stretch it over it and put the underside plastic cover on to hold the cover on. The shift boot I just used contact cement on the bracket and then installed it in the car, and used a zip tie to hold the top of it up to match the bottom of the knob. The handbrake boot just slips on. Here are the pictures that everyone has been waiting for! |
