1986.5 Supra 7mge
Just a little advice to any who may encounter this same problem!Your car has no spark and will not fire> The logical conclusion would be to check the coil and ignitor; but before attempting to buy this $500.00 igniter, unplug the wire going into the distributor and do a resistance check of the pick-up coil module. You should read between 160-180ohms between all three terminals if it is good. Any thing less replace The distributor! Unfortunately Toyota does not carry just the pick-up coils. Distributors are available online for about $150.00. Also check the blue and red wire going to the distributor ; the should be 12v if the igniter is good with the key in the on position.
