Default Exhaust

2 questions. Can a supra be a true dual exhaust? And I want a deep exhaust sound. Kind of like the STi's or a g35 sounding exhaust would be good too. Anyone kno?

a supra will only be dual exhaust if the exhaust is custom made, it has to be fabricated to hold the two mufflers and teh pipes ...since the supra is a single exhaust...you will need to weld and run an extra pipe off the original one...the headers ive seen only accomodate a six...if you find 2 piece headers like they use on v6's...u can make a custom dual exhaust...but its soo much more work i dont think its worth it...no offense...and please dont hate me if i say this...its kind of ricey....in my opinion

The N/A exhaust system has a 6 into 2 into 1 system. I guess if you took it from the 2 pipes you could split it and run 2 pipe out the back or out the sides. I think it would hurt the performance though. I think you would take out one of the cylinder gas pulses that would help scavenge the exhaust better, but not positive on this. I always thought the older RX7 looked pretty good with dual exhausts, but I don't know how it was routed.

i dont know about the mk3 but on my mk2. i use to have a dual exhaust tho. i were using a 2 1/4 down pipe from converter all the way to the stock Y connecting.... Y adapter is what i were using... it came from one peace n it split into two peace... n one goes to the original exhaust n the other one goes to where i want my other exhaust at... but in this setup.... i having body kit go with it tho... so in that way it looks ok on me tho... i use to modify the front of my mk2 with the 97 prelude evo. 3 with the yellow foglight... n the back on my bumper.. i were using a 97 prelude evo. 4 dual exhaust.... so thats why it looks ok on me... but now... i into something else... so i take that kit off. n get me a jdm drifting from Japan... n now i running a 3" down pipe from all the way from my turbo into the 3" exhaust... with the after market resonators n still having the converter on... n it still load on me tho... well i hope you can do the same on your mk3 to.. let mek now how you get to work alright...hehe... but it does make a diff. on my mk2 tho... n happy that now i got turbo on my mk2... hehe... check my site out at my aa page... hehe... if needed my site please email me n i link it up for you alright... peace out...

i still say dual exhaust on an mk3 is ricey...though it still is my opinion.. why change it? it was meant to be single so leave it single...dual doesnt make it any better...probably wont add any power...just let the air flow even better thats all since now there are two pipes instead of one
