help with 87 turbo hesitating at 1400 rpms
 

have a 87 turbo that runs perfect till it gets to 1400 rpms then acts like someone turned the car off picks up again if u accelerate threw 2000 rpms i have only one code showing up knock sensor but dont think this is the problem.haveseen several post with same problem however have not seen how they resolved the problem. please help

Code 52? If so, more than likely that's your problem.. My 87 has done the same thing ;(>

well found the broken wire from the knock sensor *the old one. wired it into the new knock sensor wire because i didnt no which knock sensor wire to cut at the computer their r 2 u no front and back my back one was out but after rewiring i lost all my power that i had before now do i readjust the cam position sensor to compensate for the lack of power or what? Is there anyone in the fort myers area that i could get some real help from? I am so tired of throwing parts at this car with no results. please help if u can.
