50/50 water/alcohol injection system for more boost on pump gas
anyone played with alcohol/water injection systems? my friend just installed one on his rig for $350 and wow what a difference. It increased his boost 4 psi without touching the boost controller. just from chilling the air at the combustion chamber. and he says he thinks it rises faster. AND It lets him run to 20 psi on pump gas before he starts to even ping when he would ping at 18 or before without it.. it has one nozzel that kicks on at 2-8psi and another that kicks on at 9-max boost and the pump only runs on demand so i was impressed and that i thought i would share this with you all.. its hi pressure so it atomizes the mix and the pump is all stainless due to the alcohol.

i have the aquamist water injection on my supra..it brings down teh temperature of the combustion chambers a lot...cooler mixture in other words, it does allow you to run a higher psi before pinging since the mixture will be cooler even after running through an i/c, therefore it allows u to run pump gas on a high amount of boost, though i still run 93 or 96 to avoid knock and preignition, i think its well worth teh money and you get to make more power
