R-154 transmission mount adjusting bolt
What is the proper adjustment for that flat headed bolt that protrudes from the center of the transmission mount bracket? I guess its purpose is to limit the up motion travel of the transmission.
I had a look with the cross member support off (supporting the tranny with the jack) to inspect the rubber of the mount for tearing. I ended up tightening the big bolt up until I felt it touching the end of it travel. With the weight on it hangs down less than 1/2 an inch below the surface.
