AFM, MAF, MAP, sensor!?!?
-Short story i need the Air sensor (body and sensor) for my car and do not know which one to get because of the many Lexus version that work on the car as well as a turbo "outlet" which hooks into the intercooler (air sensor Part# would help more)
-I am rebuilding an 88 Supra 7Mgte which is in more or less good condition (apart from the engine) in which case the engine was "rebuilt" and just not finished, signs from the car indicate it has sat for 5-10 years after being rebuilt (brand new spark plugs with rust on top of the plugs, and license tag date was 2004). Trying to start the car and was able to turnover (as in the starter turned the engine) not crank and my problems now lie are the air sensor, throttle sensor, possible missed vacuum lines and old/bad fuel album here of the in sad condition supra http://imgur.com/a/cW3RC#0 EDIT: just got the 22250-50010 housing and the 22204-42011 sensor if that is the correct setup Last edited by Revoker; 04-08-2014 at 08:16 PM. |

Verify the internal dimensions of the housing. All of the Lexus KVAFM housings I know of are larger and unless you're upgrading your injectors or have managed a whopping 24% increase in fuel pressure you'll need to find a housing from the 7M-GTE. The electronics are the same though.

Sorry i did get a lexus housing, because that was really all i could find. For right now all i am trying to do is start the car so i can build more on to it. When the car runs i will buy the bigger injectors. For now i think i heard i can restrict airflow as to make it similar to the stock housing. (correct me if im wrong)
but right now i still need the turbo Outlet (pipe that goes to the intercooler) because it seams no kit comes with that part this probably my intercooler http://www.godspeedproject.com/toyot...ntercooler-kit |

The bypass channel is the main difference. Restrict that and you should be closer to safe. I wouldn't run at much more than idle while the engine is cold or the system is in open loop until either fueling or airflow is properly accounted for though.

There is an AFM for sale on Supramania and it's just the sensor so NO housing needed. Just switch the sensors and walla!
The interior of ur car looks almost identical the interior in my car, I swapped out all the leather seats for cloth until I get the Cusco or Bide seats I want, plus steering wheel of course.
